Reviews and Ratings
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, though large and overlooking the garden, was not made up due to a misunderstanding, and road noise could be bothersome. Despite these issues, our stay at the du Vin for one night had its moments.
The hotel offers quirky rooms with a unique layout but lacked sufficient lighting. The wood paneling and comfy chairs create a relaxing ambiance, but minor inconveniences like the bed-TV position and toiletry issues were noted. Service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond, though value for money could be improved. The location is central but open, leading to some aromatic disturbances. The dining experience was delightful, albeit limited due to restrictions. Facilities are satisfactory but with room for enhancement.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, although pleasant, were the smallest I've ever experienced, and some were spacious but felt a bit tired. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't working properly, making the room overly hot with disturbing traffic noise, resulting in a sleepless night. On the positive side, the service was fantastic, with a friendly and helpful team, especially at the bar. The location was ideal for exploring the area and very comfortable, with a lovely ambiance. As for dining, despite some delays, the food was tasty. However, the cold meat was a bit underwhelming.
The hotel is conveniently located near the town center and the station, making it easy to explore the area comfortably. While the rooms across the park were hot and lit up at night, perfect for a quiet work session, the price for dinner, bed, and breakfast may not provide the best value for money.
The hotel offers really comfortable and well-equipped rooms. The rooms are very spacious, making for a pleasant stay.
